Effective November 1st, 2020 SKODA a.s. has changed its name to SMT a.s.

SKODA MACHINE TOOL, an industry leader in the machine tool industry has announced that the company will be operating under a new name, SMT, effective immediately. This name change is consistent with the constant evolution of the company as it enters is 110th year in business.

This rebranding will not affect or delay any contracts or purchase orders signed before this name change. SMT will continue to provide the same line of horizontal milling and boring machines and horizontal lathes they have built their reputation on in the machine tool industry.

The web address has changed to www.cz-smt.cz. SMT will maintain their headquarters in Pilsen, Czech Republic. All other company information will remain the same.
