TOSHULIN’s ET 1400 is designed to machine low profile workpieces, particularly railway wheels. The roughing machine features two rail-heads and four controlled axes (X, Z, U, W). It is designed to withstand the demands of very high-volume machining. It is very efficient with high power cutting for rapid roughing of wheels. The structure of this machine allows for easy integration into the production line.

The rail-heads and turrets enable machining with both rail heads at the same time allowing you to achieve increased productivity due to the minimized machining time and quick, automatic tool exchanges. The machine includes features designed for high-efficiency manufacturing.
The table is 1400 mm in diameter and incorporates a three jaw hydraulic chuck with extended stroke. It is driven by a Dual Drive System with 2×81 kW power output.

The finishing machine includes finish turning and a live spindle with a B axis head to drill angled holes.
