TOS KURIM Vertical Gantry – Accessories
AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER for TOS KURIM Vertical CNC Gantry Machines
The TOS KURIM automatic tool changer can store up to 120 tools while riding along with the traveling gantry. Riding with the gantry reduces tool change time by not having to go to the end of the X axis to pick up a tool. On the FRP Portal table type machines the tool changer and magazine are floor mounted and stationary.
The TOS KURIM automatic tool changer can change tools into the ram and bar spindle and various heads in both the horizontal or vertical attitude.

HEAD STORAGE for TOS KURIM Vertical CNC Gantry Machines
The TOS KURIM automatic Head Storage Units are built in the TOS KURIM factory to provide a direct interface and protection for head storage on all TOS KURIM Vertical Gantry and Portal machines.
The Head Storage Units can store up to 6 heads dependent upon the Y axis travel of the machine. The Head Storage Units can be placed on the floor plate or on the floor and within the X axis stroke of the machine.
Automatic drop off and pick up is incorporated into the machine CNC operation. Doors and / or steel roller shades are provided to protect the parked heads from machine chips and coolant during automatic process.

HEADS for TOS KURIM Vertical CNC Gantry Machines
The TOS KURIM automatic attachment heads are manufactured in the TOS KURIM factory and engineered to strict tolerances.
Each TOS KURIM head is hand scraped and matched perfectly to the face of the RAM of the machine it will be married to.
Automatic latching to the face of the RAM to provide a rigid machining platform is standard. All services including coolant, recirculating oil, electrical and air through the RAM to the head.
The automatic tool changer can change the tooling connection (CAT, HSK, and CAPTO) directly into each head in both the vertical and horizontal attitude.

ROTARY TABLES for TOS KURIM Vertical CNC Gantry Machines
The TOS KURIM Traveling Gantry, Bed Type Traveling Gantry and Portal Machines most commonly are supplied with floor plate or fixed or moving T slotted table, however, a TOS KURIM rotary table can also be integrated into the machine envelope.
A Turning Table is also available so large parts are not required to be moved to another machine to just turn some features.
